RECORDING SESSIONS

Everything I record is done in my own home studio, which was specifically built to be a drum recording room.  Built from the ground up with proper beam spacing, drywall, and acoustics to get optimum sound from the room.  

Quite a few of the albums in my discography have been recorded in this very room.  You can listen to releases like "Tempora Mutantur" from LUNAR, "The Majesty of Decay" from JUDICATOR, and "Tales of Magic" from PLANESWALKER (among others) to hear stuff recorded here. 

I record with my Mac using Logic Pro X as my DAW.  I use the Behringer X32 with all high end Audix mics and Mogami gold studio cables.  The kit I generally use is a Tama Star Bubinga, but also have a Starclassic birch, both with a variety of tom sizes.  Plus a variety of different snare drums and cymbals to choose from.  See the gear list for a full list of what's available for me to use on your recordings. 

A single song could have 30 different drum ideas put to it that could all "work." It's common for people to send demo midi drums with their projects to give an idea of the type of sound & feel you want for your project.  This is recommended, but not required.  And we can discuss the details of how much you want it mimicked vs me putting my own feel and sound to it.
