Alex Bosson has been drumming for over 25 years. Specializing in different subgenres of rock & metal, but can help with any genre you're looking for. Lessons - in person or online; any skill level. Whether you're just starting, or want to improve at a pro level, he's got you covered. Or if you're missing that key rhythmic element to take your band or project to the next level, Alex can help with filling in for gigs, joining your band on tour, or recording parts for your next song or album. With multiple tours, festivals, and gigs across North America, South America, and Europe, over 30 different albums, EP's and singles recorded, and hundreds of students taught, Alex is your one-stop-shop for all your drumming needs.

Where I Learned

Whether it be a single meeting, or years of lessons, Alex has learned from some of the greatest drummers in the world over the years, including: Dave Hawkes, Tim Metz, Matt Garstka (ANIMALS AS LEADERS), Ryan Van Poederooyen (ex- DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT), Adam Janzi (VOLA), and Ray Hearne (HAKEN).

What You Can Learn

Having diverse experience makes it so we can work on anything. We can start from the ground up with the basics, or work on something more complex, such as polyrhythms, independence, or double bass technique and speed. We can work on learning songs to cover, or specific styles and genres of music. And not just metal! Alex is well-versed in playing and teaching funk, rock, blues, pop, country, and even a bit with Latin and jazz.
